Attention Readers !!!

Volunteers for Medical Engineering, Inc. can assist the
disabled and elderly. Volunteers for Medical Engineering, Inc.
(VME) is a national non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated
to assisting the disabled and elderly.

The mission of VME is to promote affordable products and
services for disabled persons through volunteer efforts of high-
tech engineers of all professions and medical rehab personnel. We
apply aerospace and defense technology to help disabled and
elderly people live more productive lives.

One VME program is the Distribution Center for Assistive
Technology (DCAT). DCAT accepts donated computer equipment,
durable medical equipment (shower chairs, walkers, commodes,
etc...) and other assistive devices. Computers are an invaluable
assistive device for the disabled. DCAT offers commercially
available devices to the disabled and the elderly.
